A visit to Wilmington

I went to Wilmington on the 8th. On the way up Mom called and said  Raymond had a heart attack. He was in the hospital the whole time I was there and we visited frequently. Right after they determined he had a heart attack they got him taken care of and put a stent in. He spent the rest of the time recovering and being observed. Mom picked him up from the hospital when I was leaving. I am glad I was able to see him while up there, even if it was in the hospital.

Since we couldn't stay in the hospital the whole time and I had brought some paintings to show mom, I will show what was left. I brought her some canvas boards about 16 - 9"x12", 6 - 8"x10" and some smaller ones of the 6x6 and 3x4 variety. I also left some MDF for her to paint on.

Mom wanted the two paintings above

Paige is getting the next one

Raymond is using the box for his new set of prescriptions. It will hold the bottles

And since Jim and Betsy have always been supportive of the arts where mom is able to do and show her art, I gave them a couple of business card holders and a box. Jim has always been nice to me and I appreciate what he does.

Sorry that the pic is on top of my truck tool box.

...an abstract

This is more of what I consider a pure abstract. I tried it and liked it over all.
I hope that since I can incorporate many things with this title that I will have a more inclusive blog on many of the things that I do. I do not do much in reality but I do some things and want to do more. Now maybe I will be properly motivated to put anything on this blog. I have many pics of food that I have cooked. I have pics of food Mom made for me. I hope to add all. I probably won't though. Just wishful thinking on my part. I do hope to add many from the past and most if not all from the future that  I deem worthy. I have items I want to build and want to put them here also. I will also get on my soap box occassionaly, just because  I can. I probably won't do too much though. Happy viewing.
