Here are some more. I am trying to show in sequence.

That is my first painting on canvas. It was a canvas that I made.

Very small things that I painted

Are you detecting a theme? I like painting the trees. I am not so good at drawing or watercolor yet. I say yet because I hope to get better. I practice drawing then add a little water color to it to get an idea. I thought I would hate water color but I do not mind it so much. It is different.

so little cobblers..

These things are little bites of heaven. It us phyllo dough put in muffin pans with a spot of butter and baked at 350 to warm up while preparing the filling which is southern cobbler. 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of salt about a cup of milk Take fruit, I used blackberries for this, but you can use peaches, blueberries, maybe raspberries and cover with about 1 cup of sugar. It is about 2 - 3 cups or so of fruit that is coated with the sugar. Mix dry ingredients then add milk. Pull muffin pan out of oven that has phyllo dough and butter and put a spoonful or so of cobbler on the dough then top with fruit. Bake until done. 20-40 mins. I do not remember actual baking time.... I cooked til slightly brown.

Not so good paintings

I say that because my perspective is not great because I have little experience in making it correctly. The bottom one was an attempt at doing a painting with a reference. It is beyond my skill level. I will get better, at least I hope I do. Anyway, the bottom painting became the below painting and it is still evolving.

Fun Paintings

Below are some fun paintings as I like to call them. I just take 140# watercolor paper and gesso it. I divide it into sections with 1" blue tape and end up making 4"x5" paintings. I do it for practice and to try things that I see done that I want to try. They're fun. The beer mugs were not originally going to be beer mugs. I had done some sketching of glasses filled with lemonade. I couldn't see it working in my mind, but I could see beer mugs quite clearly.
